Complexion

The Void-touched sports a unique, unorthadox appearance to others like her, her skin is an ivory, perfect white with red markings, her crystalline limbs, 'ears' & Tail gradient from white into a deep wine red overall causing her to bear a striking daemonic appearance.However if one were to get quite close and inspect her, they would notice that this is all falsified, and that extensive makeups and body-paint have been used to give her this strange look.

Personality

Kalith is a blunt and constantly bored person, her facial expression rarely ever fluctuates from a perpetual disgruntled, almost neutral frown and her voice sounds like she would really rather be anywhere than where she is now, Never really reacting to much, even pain.Despite this unfeeling exterior, she is meticulously documenting everything around her, studying them, researching everything she can with an almost unnatural drive.

Arcane Leech


Effect: Your character becomes host to an arcane leech, a Void-dwelling creature invisible to the naked eye. The exact detriment depends on the mage's primary branch.꩜Cursesmithy:
The Leech latches onto your soul, plaguing you with ghostly voices and shadows in the periphery. Should someone die in your vicinity, their spirit tethers to you and you suffer a -2 penalty to HAR: Belief rolls for the next week.


Erratic Hex


TargetedEffect: Places a malediction on a target within Ranged distance, confounding their mind and decision-making. Each round after the cast, an action must be expended to maintain the hex. While it is in effect, the target cannot repeat an action that they performed on their previous turn (e.g. If their previous turn consisted of an Evade and Dash, they cannot perform those actions on their turn). Attacks modified by feats (e.g. Piercing Strike) or made with different weapons are considered unique.At the beginning of their turn, the target makes an INT check with a -1 modifier. On a success, they break free of the hex's effects. Otherwise, every subsequent turn spent hexed increases this modifier by +1.Method: Chanting a curse and gesturing to the target with a beguiling hand sign.

TargetedEffect: The caster conjures an inner demon that paralyses the target in place, visible only to them. Any movement (free, dash, flight, etc.) while paralyzed is strenuously painful and inflicts 3 AP damage per action of movement.At the end of their turn, the target may overcome the paralysis by making a successful HAR check with a -1 modifier that increases each round (-1, +0, +1, etc.).Method: A small incantation before snapping towards the target.

When the target makes an attack or other physical action, the caster projects a vision of the best or worst outcome. Roll a 2d2 and either add or subtract the result to the target's roll. The caster can attempt a cast as a reflex to a visible target's action.Method: Flashing a talisman or speaking a malediction.

Greater Resonance


Effect: The caster's vision becomes grayscale as an inherent sense of the arcane lets them discern traces of magic used within the last 24 hours. Anything from the casting of a spell, the presence of a magic item, or even the presence of a hexed individual leaves a uniquely-colored splotch amidst the grey landscape, informing the caster of the branch of magic used, the degree of power, and the nature of the target (living, dead, inanimate), but nothing further except at DM discretion. Attempts to hide arcane objects or traces from the caster require a HAR: Arcana contest. This effect lasts until the end of the scene, or until dismissed.Method: Blinking, then seeing the world through greyed out eyes for the duration of the spell.

Effect: Rays of bright light or absolute dark shoot out of the caster's focus, striking a number of unique targets in Skirmishing distance for 2 AP damage. The number of targets is equal to 3 plus the caster's HAR: Arcana. This attack cannot be blocked, evaded, or resisted by a roll.Method: Channeling into focus, drawing upon light or absence of it.

Enchantment: Radiance


Effect: Arcane runes appear upon the targeted armour. For the duration of the scene, the wearer is protected from attacks by the undead. Attacks made by undead creatures against the wearer deal 1 less damage and cause 1 AP damage back to the undead. Additionally, the armor radiates light around the wearer that reaches to Skirmishing distance.Surge Effect: For three rounds, allies within Skirmishing distance of the wearer also receive -1 damage from attacks made by undead creatures, and the radiated light becomes equivalent to Daylight.Method: Tracing intricate runes with magic over the surface of armour, verbally warding off the undead while doing so.

Tether


TargetedEffect: Tendrils of light or dark pour out from the caster's focus, ensnaring a target within Skirmishing distance. If more than 4 blocks away, they may succeed a STR roll to escape being grabbed. Upon failing, or if already within 4 blocks, they are immediately pulled onto a block adjacent to the focus. They find themselves tethered to a 4 block radius around the focus and any attempts to leave this area are met with an equal and opposite force that pulls them back in. Actions to leave (free movement, dashes, being pulled) require a successful STR check. They may take other actions as normal. The tether remains until the caster dismisses it or the target breaks out.Method: Twisting one's hand, commanding out from the focus tendrils of light and dark.

Effect: As an action, you can direct a scathing song, sonnet, or quip at a target within Ranged distance. They receive a -1 penalty to their skill checks OR attack, block, evade, & spellcast rolls for one round. This effect stacks with others up to a maximum of a -3 penalty.

Rousing Inspiration


LimitedEffect: Your presence inspires others to persevere in the face of death. As a single limited action using your voice, playing an instrument, or with a motivational command, you can bolster all allies within skirmishing range. They gain temporary HP equal to your HAR +2, but may only be bolstered this way from any source once per scene.

Who am i?

Hello!, I am Monoeye, you might see me around here and there on the server, I love video games, primarily singleplayer and co-op games, and i love music, i will listen to any genre happily from ambient to death metal to noise music, so feel free to give me any recommendation. And i also love movies, especially horror even down to the bizarre esoteric stuff.I may come across as too much sometimes, i do get a little overly excited and i struggle to gauge the meaning or intention behind words sometimes, or how to express them myself.
